"Felt a bit overpriced to me"
I just had a gut feeling right away that the prices were higher than what I usually see at local shops. After checking a few items, it didn’t really feel worth it for me personally, so I’d probably stick with buying in-store.

"I got the wrong wine order"
I ordered red wine and somehow ended up with white wine instead. I get that mistakes happen, but this was frustrating, especially when support didn’t seem all that bothered about it. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for expecting the order I actually paid for

"I use Vivino mostly when I’m scanning..."
I use Vivino mostly when I’m scanning bottles or trying to quickly check reviews before buying something. It’s definitely useful, but the app feels a bit slow and crowded sometimes, not sure how to explain it. The scanner can take a few tries, and every now and then it pulls up a match that doesn’t seem quite right. I still use it often, I just wish it felt a little smoother...

"Bottles arrived broken and leaking"
I ordered 6 bottles from Vivino, and when the box showed up it already looked like it had been through a lot. One corner of the cardboard was soft and wet, so I had a bad feeling before I even opened it.
Sure enough, two bottles were completely smashed inside. There was barely any real padding, just some flimsy dividers that were already bent up. There was glass and wine everywhere, and even the labels on the other bottles were ruined.
i feel stupid for trusting them with a wine shipment if this is how it gets packed. For something this fragile, the packaging just wasn’t good enough, and I don’t feel comfortable ordering again if breakage is this easy...
"Good deals, but kinda confusing"
I’ve found some decent promos on Vivino and saved a little on a few bottles. That said, the discounts aren’t always super clear, and once shipping gets added, the deal isn’t always as good as it first looks. It’s still worth using, though, as long as you compare prices before buying.
"I was already a bit tired and..."
I was already a bit tired and not really in the mood to deal with extra hassle, so the checkout experience was annoying. I tried paying twice and it just kept spinning without saying what was going on. The order eventually went through, but there wasn’t a clear message, so the whole thing felt messy and a little stressful.

"Just a heads up for anyone ordering, the..."
Just a heads up for anyone ordering, the shipping was slower than I expected. The item did arrive in good condition, so that part was fine, but don’t count on it showing up quickly if you need it by a certain date.

"Wine details feel kind of hit or miss"
I use Vivino often when I’m standing in a store trying to decide on a bottle, but the info can be all over the place. I’ll see what looks like the same wine listed with different years, odd grape details, or basic stuff missing. Maybe a lot of it is user-submitted or pulled from different sources, I’m not really sure, but it definitely doesn’t always feel reliable. The reviews can still be useful, but when the actual wine page is messy, it’s hard to know what to trust. These days I mostly treat it like a rough guess rather than a solid source.

"Wish there was more to choose from"
I was expecting a bigger mix, the same wines kept popping up over and over. It just felt limited and not really what I had in mind.
"I use vivino often, especially when..."
I use vivino often, especially when I’m standing in line trying to decide if a bottle is worth grabbing, but the vintage details can be really hit or miss. Sometimes the year shown doesn’t match the bottle, or the reviews seem mixed in from other vintages, which gets annoying when you’re already waiting in a queue and just want a quick answer. It’s still helpful overall, but I really wish the info was more accurate.

"Shipping is way too expensive"
I was ready to order a few bottles, but the shipping fee was ridiculous. It was almost the same price as the wine itself. On top of that, I’m not really confident paying that much just for delivery if the bottles might get handled carelessly anyway. The site might be fine, but the shipping cost makes it not worth it for me.

"The label scanner misses way too much"
I really like the idea behind Vivino, but the label scanner has been frustrating for me. I’ve scanned a handful of bottles and it’ll sometimes pull up the wrong vintage, or somehow decide it’s an entirely different wine. It’s one of those automated features that sounds great until you’re standing there wondering why it can’t just read the label properly.
It’s especially annoying when I’m in a shop and just want a quick gut check before buying something. Half the time I give up and type it in myself, which kind of defeats the point. It’s not useless, but I definitely don’t trust it enough to rely on it.

"Refund still hasn’t been sorted"
I sent my return back and I’m still waiting on the refund. The weird part is, the return process itself already felt like a hassle, but now there’s no clear update on where my money is either. Frustrating.

"Save your time and don’t wait around"
No one ever got back to me. I reached out to support and just sat there waiting with no reply. If you’re expecting help, save your time and look elsewhere

"Ratings don’t feel that reliable"
I used Vivino for a while, but the ratings started feeling hit or miss. I’d grab a wine with a high score expecting something decent, and then it would just be average. Then I’d try something rated lower and it would be totally fine, so it kind of made the whole thing feel pointless.
The reviews didn’t help much either because so many of them were vague or all over the place. I felt like I was doing extra work trying to compare scores, read random comments, and still guess what was actually worth buying. At that point, it wasn’t really making picking wine easier, so I just stopped using it.

"Wish I’d checked the stock more carefully"
I do like using Vivino for finding wines and seeing what other people think, but I’ve definitely had a few moments where I regretted getting excited too quickly. A bottle will look like it’s available, then once I click through, it’s either out of stock or won’t ship to my area.
When everything lines up, the site is easy to use and the prices seem fair. I just wish the inventory info was more accurate, because it’s frustrating to spend time picking something out only to realize you can’t actually buy it.

"Notifications have been unreliable"
I’ve noticed the notifications are really hit or miss, especially with emails showing up late sometimes. It’s frustrating when you’re relying on them to stay updated. I’m hoping the team can make this right somehow, since it’s been inconvenient enough that I’d expect some kind of compensation or account credit

"The recommendations are kind of off haha"
I use Vivino to help find wines I might actually like, but lately the suggestions just don’t make much sense. It keeps showing me sweet reds and pricey bottles, even though I never buy those. Not super helpful for me right now haha.

"Search filters are really hit or miss"
Using Vivino to search for a wine has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes the filters seem fine, but other times they reset, the prices don’t line up, or I get results that don’t match what I searched for at all. I ended up spending more time messing with the search settings than actually looking at wines, which got frustrating fast.

"Tracking updates didn’t really line up"
The tracking was frustrating, to be honest. It kept saying my wine was still sitting at the warehouse, and then it randomly showed up that same afternoon. Support was fine when I reached out, but it definitely felt like someone wasn’t keeping the tracking current. Made it annoying to plan around the delivery.
